A exotic hideaway set on an idyllic and intimate rainforest-clad island off Malaysia’s west coast.
Seamlessly blending luxury accommodation with untouched nature, this private island resort sits in the Straits of Malacca and provides a feeling of getting away from it all. The extensive Spa Village offers a unique combination of treatments and therapies from around Asia. If you can tear yourself away from the spa there are plenty of activities to enjoy, from sunset cruises, fishing and island hopping excursions, to yoga, t’ai chi and jungle trekking. And across the island from the heart of the resort you’ll find the Emerald Bay, a pretty cove where you can relax for a few hours of the day.
Take a culinary tour of Malaysia, Asia and beyond at the resort’s seven restaurants and two bars. If your idea of the perfect evening is one of sophisticated dining with a range of seafood, western grill dishes and Italian cuisine on offer, head to the adults-only fine dining restaurant, Fisherman’s Cove. Alternatively, sample authentic Nyonya and Hockchew Chinese-style home cooking at Uncle Lim’s Kitchen. Due to the secluded location of the resort we highly recommend you upgrade to the full board package.
The villas and suites are scattered throughout the resort or on stilts over the sea villas – a unique accommodation choice in Malaysia. Garden, Hill and Beach Villas are located on the island, the latter featuring sea views, whilst the Sea Villas and Sea Suites are located out over the water. The resort also features over-water Spa Villas which are conveniently located close to the Spa Village, and if you opt for one of these, you can enjoy access to the Spa Village pool.
